FAQs

Q) How much is the onboarding fee?
We charge $2000 for our onboarding fee. Included in the fee is the labor required to get your property onboarded effectively, photography, and the assembly of your property-specific inventory box. We are more than happy to dive deeper into this fee on a sales call.

Q) How do you deal with guests who request refunds?
While we pride ourselves in being proactive, guest complaints are inevitable. Our customer service representatives are trained to deescalate, but every now and then, you’ll have a guest who won’t back down on a refund request. Typically, we will provide a refund we believe is proportionate with the issue(s) presented. We do this because ultimately, the long-term health of your property is more important than revenue from a single booking. Negative reviews can tank any listing, so combining proactive measures with a reasonable refund policy is in your property’s best interest. Please note that if a guest threatens to leave us a negative review on AirBNB over messaging, then we won’t provide any refund and will be able to get that review removed.

Q) Do you schedule deep cleans?
We do! We recommend that your property gets deep cleaned 1-2 times per year, depending on the size.
Q) Do your cleaners provide linens?
Yes. Our policy at Covenant Co-Hosting is that the cleaners we work with use their linens in our property. We do this because it simplifies everything on our end so we can focus on what is actually important - your property’s cleanliness score. We’ve worked with companies who own their linens and/or provide linens based on owner requests. We don’t see this as a value add, so we require that the cleaners provide the linens.

Q) Will you ever have in-house maintenance?
Yes. Once we hit a certain property count, we will hire in-house maintenance.
Q) How do you charge me for in-house maintenance?
Once we have our own in-house maintenance, we won’t charge a service or labor fee. The only thing we will charge you are any materials purchased for repairs done.
Q) What are the benefits of the maintenance partnership you have?
As mentioned in our services, we are partnered with a local maintenance company. The benefits of this partnership include 24/7 service, discounted rates on certain repairs, priority scheduling, and our direct access to their management. We plan on maintaining this partnership even when we hire in-house maintenance staff.

Q) How often will you visit my property?
Our goal is to do an in-depth inspection of each property once per month.
Q) Will you charge me for property inspections?
We do not charge for in-house property inspections. The only thing we will charge for is any material provided (with the exception of light bulbs, batteries, and air filters).
